The People Behind the Credits
Tate Modern, Starr Auditorium
July 2010

On Monday 12th July, we created a participatory work called The People Behind the Credits. This developed out of a research period during May, June and July 2010, in we worked with the Tate Community Film Club based at Tate Modern to create a series of 'Trailers'.

Twelve professionals from the film industry were invited to talk about their particular roles, including an editor, location scout, storyboard artist and composer. We intended to emphasise the collective nature of industrial filmmaking that is too often overlooked. This event preceded a screening of Mister Lonely (2007) directed by Harmony Korine.
