Becoming the Alien

In this video, two collaborators, punning on the American use of 'alien' to mean immigrant, imagined themselves as extra-terrestrials, who have landed in Peckham to explore indigenous flora and fauna. The gestures that comprise their sign language are drawn from observations of movements in the vicinity during a workshop process.
